All EAS Messages published by the Joint Information Center are also available in the CAP (Common Alertings Protocol) XML Format. These CAP EAS messages are separated by message status: Exercise, Test, or Actual Emergency.

In order to easily view EAS Messages in CAP format, you will need a device or software application desinged for CAP/XML interface. More information on CAP can be found at:  The CAP: What, Why and How
